IIT Kanpur is hiring for several posts offering a salary of up to Rs 2.16 lakh

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced Administrative and Technical Cadre Recruitment 2024 on the official website. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, iitk.ac.in by January 31, 2025. Salary for selected candidates ranges from Rs 21,700 to Rs 2,16,600 depending on the position.

For the application fees, candidates applying for Group A posts have to pay Rs 1,000 (General, OBC, EWS) and Rs 500 (SC, ST, PH), female candidates are exempted from the fee. For Group B and C posts, the fee is Rs 700 (General, OBC, EWS) and Rs 350 (SC, ST, PH), with female candidates again exempted.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

In the official notification it is stated that the presentation to the written test is provisional. Before proceeding to further stages such as interviews or practical tests, candidates’ documentation will be checked against the information provided during online application. Discrepancies in documentation will result in disqualification from the recruitment process.

For positions 1–8, the selection process includes a written test and/or a seminar or presentation to an expert panel, followed by a personal interview. For Post 9, candidates will undergo a direct interview. For other positions, selection may involve a written test, a skill test, a job-oriented practical test, or other methods as per institutional guidelines.
