DGP office alerts citizens about fake recruitment letter

Vijayawada: The state DGP office has warned the public against the circulation of a fake letter in the name of DGP Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao on current recruitment of Home Guards, Civil Police and CT (Band-Bugler) personnel.

It was said that this fake letter was circulated by certain persons with malicious intentions. “The letter and the claims made in it are completely false, lacking any credibility.”

The DGP’s office has announced that legal action will be taken against those involved in creating and circulating this fraudulent letter. He also warned that criminal proceedings will be initiated against people who spread this misinformation.

“The public is advised to report any suspicious activities related to this fake recruitment letter to us. The office of the DGP remains committed to maintaining the integrity of the recruitment process and ensuring that justice is served against any offenders,” the statement said.
