Today, Sunday, Metro TV Ghana reported that two ladies were taken into custody in a pub in the Ashanti region following a physical altercation over a businessman they both claimed to share.

Discussions of female rivalry and relationships were sparked by the event.

According to witnesses at the pub, the fight started when the women saw each other with the same man, which sparked angry arguments.

Witnesses reported that as the remarks became thrust, the atmosphere quickly changed. The bar patrons watched in disbelief as the two women continued to fight without giving up.

One customer said: “The fight was so loud it got the attention of everyone in the bar”, “People were shouting, trying to break them up but they were too angry to listen”.

Despite the bar staff’s prompt intervention, the women were adamant about resolving their disputes immediately. When things got out of hand, someone called the police.

A short time later, the police showed up and broke up the altercation. After being detained, the women were further questioned at the police station.

According to the police, this episode highlights how erratic interpersonal connections can be, especially when it comes to love and affection.

Police advised people to resolve disputes amicably and get help if their emotions become too much to control.

“We have seen similar incidents before,” said a police officer. “People need to find better ways to resolve their disagreements. Fighting just makes things worse; it never solves anything.

The businessman at the center of the dispute has not yet been named and has not responded to questions about the matter.

According to reports, friends and relatives of the women are worried about this event and how it could affect their lives.
