Speaking of Noah Lyles, Knighton insisted that people should stop making comparisons as the athletes are very different.

The former 200m world bronze awarded he insisted that when the time was right, he would achieve what he had always worked so hard for, but now he should give it time.

“He’s doing his thing right now. Everyone has their time and their place in a rivalry. And I feel like I’ve gone on over the years once I get older, you know, it’s just going to be a movie every time we step on the track.” Knighton stated.
