Man wanted by Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated assault arrested, 3 arrested for harboring fugitive

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the man involved in an aggravated assault incident.

Tradarrius Johnson was arrested Friday by deputies following a coordinated effort to locate and detain him.

During the arrest, three other people – identified as Jabais West, Quentin Phillips and D’Angelo Green – were also taken into custody.

The trio now face charges of harboring a fugitive and obstruction of justice for their alleged roles in helping Johnson evade law enforcement.

All four individuals remain in custody pending initial court appearances.

The sheriff’s office commended its deputies for their diligence in bringing Johnson and his accomplices to justice.

“This case serves as a reminder that assisting a wanted suspect is a serious crime and we will hold those involved accountable,” a spokesman said.

Johnson, 24, was allegedly involved in a violent crime spree that prompted local law enforcement to issue a warrant for his arrest.
