Details on the speech rally in Houston

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump take a detour from the storm of battleground states that will decide the November election with stops in Texas on Friday. This conservative state was the first to implement an almost total ban on abortion.

Singer Beyonce is expected to join Harris at her in Houston, stop and sing, Reuters reported. Harris made Beyonce’s song “Freedom” her campaign anthem.

Trump was also campaigning in Texas on Friday, making a stop in Austin to tape an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” a popular podcaster with tens of millions of mostly male social media followers.

Harris’ team reached out to Rogan’s show about a possible appearance, spokesman Ian Sams said on MSNBC Thursday, but the schedule didn’t work out.
