UPSC Recruitment 2024: apply for Assistant Programmer Posts at upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission has invited applications for the posts of Assistant Programmer. Eligible candidates can apply online through UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in. This recruitment drive will fill 27 positions in the organization.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the post should have a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or Master of Technology (with specialization in Computer Applications) or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognized University or Institute. OR (B) (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University.

Age limit should be 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST.

Application fee

The application fee is ₹25/-. Women/SC/ST/Persons with Reference Handicapped Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee should be paid through any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit/UPI payment. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be kept in reserve for any other examination or selection.

• Click on the ORA link available on the main page under the recruitment link.
• A new page will open where candidates will get the Assistant Programmer application link.
• Click on the link and enter your registration details.
• Once done, complete the application form and pay the application fee.
• Click submit and download the page.
• Keep a hard copy of it for further reference.
