Taz responded to the fan, claiming that the ECW legend is upset with WWE

AEW broadcaster Taz doesn’t mind his time with WWE or the promotion itself, despite what some on social media might choose to believe.

Responding to a fan who claimed that Taz was bothering WWE, the Human Suplex Machine said why the idea that he has a problem with WWE makes no sense.

ZERO resentment. Why would you even say such a thing? That’s so inaccurate… You don’t know me. And the thing you have to realize is that they gave me a new career opportunity that I’m still doing today as a color commentator. So you are totally wrong.

Taz joined WWE in 2000 and debuted at that year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, ending Kurt Angle’s undefeated streak in Madison Square Garden.

During his time with WWE, Taz became a three-time Hardcore Champion and held the Tag Team Championships with fellow ECW alum Spike Dudley.

Taz debuted for AEW in October 2019 and was confirmed in January 2020 to have signed a multi-year contract with the promotion.
