Georgia murder suspect dies in Ocala, Florida; he shot himself on thanksgiving day

Authorities said Jamar Calloway died around midnight at a local hospital. He was 36 years old.

On Thanksgiving, Calloway drove from Georgia to Ocala and met his parents in the parking lot of the Croskey Center, 1510 NW Fourth St. Officers went there looking for him and he shot himself in the parking lot.

The Thomasville, Georgia, man had a warrant for two counts each of murder and aggravated assault. Police say he is accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend and her child in Georgia.
