Two adults displaced after Hermitage house catches fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two adults were displaced after a house caught fire Saturday morning.

Nashville Fire Department (NFD) crews were called to 146 Jacksonian Drive just after 8:15 a.m.

When crews arrived, light smoke was seen coming from the home.

Crews found the fire in one of the bedrooms. According to officials, the fire spread through the walls into the attic. The fire was extinguished.

Officials said two adults will be displaced. They were offered assistance from the Red Cross but declined, NFD said.

One person was taken to a local hospital with a non-critical shoulder injury. No other injuries were reported.
