The Israel Defense Forces claimed on Saturday (November 30th) to have killed a militant who allegedly took part in the October 7th terror attack and was working with World Central Kitchen, an American charity group, in Gaza. The charity group also confirmed that one of the vehicles carrying colleagues was targeted in the strike.

However, it was not immediately confirmed whether or not the person killed participated in the October 7 attacks. Nor has the IDF provided any evidence linking the man to the attacks that sparked the Israel-Hamas war more than a year ago.

“We are devastated to say that a vehicle carrying World Central Kitchen colleagues was hit by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza,” the American charity group said in a statement posted on X. “World Central Kitchen was unaware that any individual from the vehicle allegedly had links to the Hamas attack on October 7”.

The group halted all operations in Gaza, saying it had incomplete information and was urgently seeking more details. Apart from the alleged militant, two other charity workers were killed in the Israeli strike.

Hamas has released a new hostage video

Meanwhile, Hamas’ armed wing posted another video on Saturday, showing a hostage being held in Gaza since October 7. Edan Alexander, an Israeli-American citizen, can be seen imploring the Israeli people to pressure Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government into a cease-fire agreement. with Hamas and secure the release of the hostages.

Campaign group Hostage Families Forum reacted to the video, saying it was proof that the hostages were still alive and suffering greatly.

“The shocking video of Edan, an American-Israeli citizen, is definitive proof that, despite all rumors, there are hostages alive and suffering greatly,” the group said in a statement. “One year after the first and only agreement. , it is clear to everyone: the return of the hostages is possible only through an agreement,” he added.
