Charges pending after South Side church break-in: CPD

Charges are pending after a break-in at St. Christina Catholic Church in the 3300 block of West 110th Street in Mount Greenwood, Chicago police said.

CHICAGO (WLS) — Charges are pending after a burglary at a Chicago church.

The burglary took place on Friday shortly before 5 am, at the Catholic Church of St. Christina of the Mount Greenwood neighborhood, 3300 block of West 110th Street.

Police said the suspect broke a window to gain entry before stealing several items.

The suspect is in custody and charges are pending.
