Southern vs. Grambling: Live score, game updates and highlights from the 51st Bayou Classic

The self-proclaimed Black Super Bowl and one of the most entertaining rivalries in college football is finally here as Southern and Grambling State will go toe-to-toe for the 51st annual Bayou Classic.

In the last two years, Jaguars they came out on top, enjoying all the bragging rights as they handled the Tigers on HBCU football’s biggest stage. Much more is at stake in this round for Grambling (5-6, 2-5 SWAC), as this may be its final game of the 2024 college football season.

Southern (7-4, 6-1), meanwhile, has built a three-game winning streak. Two of the Jaguars’ wins came in overtime as they proved that attrition is not a weakness.

That will be put to the test on football’s biggest stage in Louisiana’s Caesars Superdome as the Jaguars look for their third straight win in the Bayou Classic and the Tigers look to get one more win to keep their season alive.
