Azealia Banks claims Drake’s ‘Lethal Chess Move’ will expose the music industry

DrakeHis decision to go after Universal Music Group, Spotify and others over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” rant sent shockwaves through the music industry and sparked intense criticism online. However, he has his defenders, including rapper Azealia Banks.



She hopped on X (Twitter) to respond to a user who said she doesn’t feel bad for Drake for “trying to put other artists down” for years “because the car was behind him.”

“Now that he’s out of the gun,” the user added. “He wants to start crying. No, pleighboy… take that chest out again.

However, Azealia Banks disagreed, responding with, “Oh Drake, he definitely has the gun. He’s about to umg and spotify on some minor legal formalities and actually be the first rapper in history to pull off a heist of such epic proportions.”

She also insisted her legal action is “really such a lethal chess move” that will shine a light on “shady” practices in the industry.

“It will literally cite all the records on the platforms, they won’t be able to cook the books,” she continued. “Then everyone would have to prove Drake is a pedophile, which would make UMG and spotify look retarded.”

She also predicted that Drake is legit filings would stop K. Dot from performing his scathing take on Drake at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“Kendrick won’t be able to play them that we don’t like,” she added. “Jayz will have been the official body of a singing n####… everyone will understand how this goes.”

As Azealia Banks critic Joe Budden responded alleged that Drake had been protected, arguing that UMG CEO Lucian Grainge had his back.

However, he it exploded on Drake, branding him “a selfish lying manipulative sack” whose past was catching up with him after spending 15 years making enemies.

However, Azealia Banks is locked in regardless of the outcome.
