Slovakia begins investigation into possible preparations for terrorist acts against pipelines – Emergency Situations

BRATISLAVA, December 1. /TASS/. Slovakia is investigating a suspected preparation of terrorist attacks against critical infrastructure, Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok said.

“The activity that can be associated with the possible preparation of a terrorist act against the critical infrastructure (of the republic) was registered in the east of Slovakia,” the minister said, quoted by Truth news portal.

An organized group of suspects in the possible preparation of terrorist acts is interested in the area where the Druzhba oil pipeline and transit gas pipeline operate, he noted. The group’s activity was registered in Slovakia and Hungary.
