The Territorial Army recruitment drive is getting a huge response in the Kashmir Valley

The Army on Saturday said it has successfully conducted a Territorial Army (TA) recruitment drive in the Kashmir Valley that witnessed “unprecedented participation” that provided opportunity and commitment to aspirants from across the region.

Srinagar Defense Spokesman said rally was held in Kupwara, Baramulla & JAK LI Regt Center from 8th to 27th November. He said it was the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic that an AT recruitment rally was organized on such a large scale. .

“The highlight of the rally was the enthusiasm of the youth to join the TA and be a harbinger of peace and development in the region, avoiding the false propaganda of terror,” the spokesman said.

The spokesperson, quoting a senior army official, said: “We are extremely proud of the outstanding turnout and exceptional talent displayed by our candidates. This recruitment activity was a testament to the dedication and passion of our youth towards Nation Building”.
