The patch 1.0.1 for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl ist verschieden worden und inhaltet mehr als 650 Fixes für das rendezvous erschienene Spiel. GSC Game World hatte den Patch für das Open-World-Spiel bereits Ende letzter Woche in Aussicht gestellt. Er behebt die ersten wichtigsten Fehler, die Arbeiten am Spiel gehen aber weiter.

Patch for Windows and Xbox

The patch is now available at the same time for the Windows PC as well as the Microsoft Xbox. Auf Steam is of Patch for Windows with 14 Gigabyte groß. Über den Microsoft Store wird das Update derzeit wohl noch nicht ausgeliefert – este wird kein Update gefunden. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is one of the most Microsoft Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Das extremely extensive Changelog schließen die Entwickler in den einzelsen bereinen immer wieder mit den Worten wie exemplification “and about 50 more bugs” or “and several minor errors“. Die Community wird aufgerufen, weitere Fehler zu report.

A-Life is improved with further patches

Trotz der Fülle an behobenen Fehlern arbeiten die Entwickler bereits daran, auch die Fehler im A-Life-System zu beheben, was aber erst mit weiteren Patches passieren wird. Wann dieser erscheinen soll, ist derzeit noch offen, die Entwickler sprechen aber bereist von “future patches”, also der Mehrzahl.

Bei A-Life, in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl in version 2.0 integriert sein soll, handelt is sich um ein System, of die Verhaltensweisen und Interaktionen von NPCs und Gegnern im Spiel koordiniert und steuert. Die NPCs sollen dabei in particular auch dann eigenständig agieren, wenn sie nicht im Bild des Spielers zu sehen sind, was eine densere, realistische Atmosfere soll schaffen.

  • AI Fixes:
    • Fixed groups of NPCs getting stuck and dying near Shelter during Active Broadcast.
    • Fixed the issue where Burer could drop any mission weapon from the player’s hands.
    • Added missing sound effects for Burer’s “Telekinesis” ability.
    • Fixed issues with NPCs occasionally getting stuck and not reaching the quest location. This could have caused the inability to interact with the NPC or progress to the next stage of the quest due to the NPC’s idle behavior.
    • Fixed performance drops/potential out-of-memory crashes in hubs and locations crowded with NPCs during long game sessions.
    • Fixed issue where NPCs would move into A-pose or start flying after death.
    • Fixed issue where NPCs could not track if a covered target was covered by hits, causing them to shoot in cover.
    • And more, more than 20 different problems with AI.
  • Optimization fixes:
    • Fixed an issue with invisible NPCs/Mutants appearing in the FOV while the Player is discovering their domain.
    • Fixed fire visual effects not rendering at certain camera angles.
    • We also fixed about 100 different crashes, including potential memory leaks and EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION issues.
  • Audio and sound fixes:
    • Fixed issue where battle music was still playing while battle was over.
    • And 7 other minor audio and sound bugs.
  • Balance Adjustments:
    • The cost of repairing weapons and armor is reduced.
    • Artifacts cost increased significantly (more sales revenue).
    • Reward money for most missions is increased from 2 to 3 times.
    • Beginner difficulty armor and weapon lovers.
    • Mutant damage is moderately reduced on Beginner difficulty (more changes to mutant health balance in Battle Balance section).
    • The player’s weapon damage is reduced by 23% on Beginner difficulty.
    • Armor durability is increased by 12.5%.
    • Added a dampener attachment for PTM to certain stashes on the Lesser Zone.
    • Fixed selling prices for exoskeletons, now more expensive to sell.
    • Fixed selling price of upgraded weapons.
    • Rebalanced Hercules Consumable: Player speed deficiency removed; increased effect parameters (now more weight could be carried by the player after consumption)
    • A few additional minor fixes.
  • Combat Balance:
    • Reduced the weight of some mission objects (including the weight of scanners)
    • Bloodsucker’s damage has been slightly rebalanced.
    • Decreased Bloodsucker’s hit protection (more weapon damage).
    • Boodsucker’s HP regeneration outside of battle has been reduced.
    • Controller HP is moderately reduced.
    • Burer’s HP is moderately reduced.
    • Boar’s HP is moderately reduced.
    • Meat HP is moderately reduced.
    • Boar damage from headshots has been changed to 100% body damage.
    • Boar damage from limb shots is increased.
    • Flesh damage from limb shots is increased.
    • The weapon’s melee range has been increased significantly.
    • Slightly increased melee distance of the knife.
  • Gamepad input:
    • Gamepad dead zones increased
  • Characters:
    • Fix eyes and teeth on NPC models.
    • Some minor fixes to NPC models and animations.
  • Cutscenes
    • Added missing footage on the TV screens in the final scene.
    • Fixed an issue with the deer animation in the opening scene.
    • And another 20 different bugs in cutscenes.
  • Game settings and menus
    • Adjusted unread text at the bottom of the Shader Compilation screen.
    • Fixed issue with “Nvidia Reflex Low Latency” option not saving on subsequent game launches.
    • And 10 more minor issues.
  • Interactable objects
    • Fixed physics issues with destructible and moving objects, including those floating in the air.
    • Fixed the interaction prompt with the glass doors in the inner courtyard of SIRCAA, which caused a traffic jam.
    • Fixed missing interior doors in the X-11 lab elevator.
    • And several minor errors.
  • Main missions and side missions
    • Fixed numerous mission crashes and bugs encountered in certain conditions. Key fixes include:
    • Fixed missing interaction with dead blind dogs in the Nightingale Hunt mission.
    • Fixed unfinished objectives in the Seek and You Shall Find quest.
    • Fixed several issues in the There and Back Again mission, including one where the artifact could not be found.
    • Fixed dialogue loop with Zotov during A Needle in a Haystack quest.
    • Fixed progression blockers in the Answers Come at a Price quest, including issues with bandits after a broadcast and missing the Heavy Key item.
    • Corrected quest markers for NPC locations in the Hot on the Trail quest.
    • Fixed issues with doors in In Search of a Guide and The Side Hustle.
    • Fixed the issue where the scene would not start during the Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
    • Fixed issue where Lodochka is missing in Quite’s Camp during the Just Like the Good Old Days quest.
    • Fixed an issue during Just Like the Good Old Days where Lodochka acts aggressively after bringing her Emitter.
    • Fixed electricity persisting in water when it should be turned off during the To the Last Drop of Blood mission.
    • Fixed several issues in the On the Edge quest, including inactive NPCs, locked doors, and Monolith attack progression.
    • Fixed progression crashes in the A Minor Incident mission, including problems with Bayun’s collar and locked doors.
    • Fixed performance drops and confusing objectives in In Search of Past Glory quest.
    • Fixed issues in the Visions of Truth quest, including stuck NPCs, stuck progression after dialogs, and unresponsive squad behavior.
    • Fixed stuck cutscenes and blocked progress in the quests Dangerous Visitors, Grey’s Last Hunt, and The Eternal Shining.
    • Corrected spawning behaviors for NPCs and enemies in The Boundary and Escape from the Cage quests.
    • Fixed Monolith attacks and checkpoint gates in the Legends of the Zone mission.
    • Changed behavior during missions like Down Below, Budmo! and A Big Score to fix stuck NPCs, misaligned markers, and missing dialogue options.
    • And about 120 other issues from the main line, side quests and encounters.
  • Open World Experience
    • Fixed stretched or missing limbs on humanoid corpses.
    • Fixed missing fast travel routes, including to the concrete plant for Toadstool.
    • Fixed issues with speakers, fast travel, and NPC interactions in various locations such as the scientists’ bunker and the chemical plant.
    • Adjusted hostile NPC behavior during Arena missions, including bandit tactics and increased ammo for Tyrant combat.
    • Corrected mission progress in the Black Sheep and Freedom Key missions.
    • And about 50 other issues have been resolved.
  • Player guidance, equipment and weapons
    • Fixed a bug that allowed you to sell items to the merchant for more money than they actually cost.
    • Fixed input lock issues with PDA, inventory and attachments when interacting with artifacts.
    • Fixed flashlight behavior after saving/loading.
    • Fixed issues with grenade type selection, compass marker overlays, and missing mission markers.
    • Fixed inconsistencies with weapon and armor enhancement effects, including upgrade prices and reversals.
    • Improved HUD behavior and extended the duration of “Point of No Return” indications during the Down Below mission.
    • Fixed a bug where the player could sell mission items using a gamepad.
    • And about 50 minor “anomalies”.
  • Voice over and facial animations
    • Restored the missing facial animations for Sava in the Hot on the Trail quest and Mugwort in The Eternal Shining quest.
    • Fixed missing voice lines during the mission Leave No One Unsatisfied.
    • Fixed radio call effects so that NPC voices properly reflect distance when communicating.
    • And a few more things are resolved.
  • World
    • Fixed flickering textures in various locations, including the Sphere, Military Base, and Chemical Plant.
    • Fixed movement issues including getting stuck in certain locations during missions like Once More Unto the Breach and A Tough Awakening.
    • Fixed artifact spawn points in some areas.
    • Fixed NPC behavior during encounters.
    • Adjusted storm voice volume for improved audio balance.
