Franklin General Store hit by early morning burglary

FRANKLIN — On Nov. 30, an early morning break-in was reported at the Franklin General Store, prompting an immediate response from Vermont State Police.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 6:58 a.m., involved an unidentified suspect who forced his way into the local store, resulting in the theft of various items and substantial damage to the ATM.

Soldiers from the St. Barracks arrived at the scene. Albans to investigate the burglary.

Authorities have released an image of a potential suspect captured during the incident.
