Investigating authorities reported an armed robbery at a convenience store in Okaloosa County

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery at a Mary Ester convenience store on Saturday.

Deputies said they were called to the store on Miracle Strip Parkway around 12:30 a.m. after a clerk reported a man entered the store and demanded money at knifepoint.

The initial description of the suspect is a black male wearing gloves and mittens, officials wrote.

The suspect was arrested and is now in custody.
