Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued city examination center notice sheet for the recruitment of Group C and D Stenographers. SSC Stenographer Exam 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 10 and 11 to fill 2006 posts vacancies in different governments. departments in India. As the exam date approaches, candidates eagerly await the release of admit cards.
The exam will be held in multiple shifts to accommodate all candidates. Details like specific shift timings and exact location of the exam center will be provided on the admit card. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards from SSC official website as they will not be sent by post.

The recruitment process includes two stages. The first stage is a Computer Based Examination (CBE) where candidates are tested on general awareness, reasoning skills and English language proficiency through multiple choice questions. Those who qualify in the CBE will move on to the second stage, the Stenography Skill Test. This test assesses the candidate’s ability to transcribe dictated content at a certain speed, a critical skill for stenographer roles.
