Over the past week, the trio allegedly stole fishing rods, reels, rifles and other marine equipment from various locations on Stock Island. They then used pseudonyms and fake accounts to sell the stolen items on popular online marketplaces such as Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who recently purchased fishing or marine gear online from a Lower Keys seller to contact Detective Ken Fricke at [email protected]. This will help investigators determine if the items purchased are related to the stolen property.
