Cops are investigating shootings involving DEA agents in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ (AZ Family) — Authorities are investigating a shooting involving a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent Wednesday night in Glendale.

Details are still unclear, but Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers are investigating the incident at the request of the DEA.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. near 43rd and Peoria avenues.

The DEA said they were conducting an operation in a parking lot that resulted in a shooting with a suspect.

DPS police took over the investigation. No injury information has been released yet.

Officials have not yet released suspect information or details about what led up to the shooting.
