Crash closes highway in Daviess Co. overnight

DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) – We’re working to find out more this morning after a crash shut down part of Kentucky 456 in Daviess County.

Officials with the Kentucky Department of Transportation say the crash happened just before 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.

It happened on the stretch of road between Kentucky 56 and Boswell Road.

Officials say utilities in the area were damaged due to the accident.

At this time, we do not know if anyone was injured.

The road was reopened early Thursday morning.
