High Surf Warning issued until Friday with lighter winds and mostly dry conditions

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Expect clouds and shower activity to be at a minimum through this weekend. The wind flow from the southeast will allow the sea breeze to spread over all the islands. On Saturday and Sunday, a shallow cold front and an upper-level disturbance will move into the islands and combine forces as high pressure builds up from the northwest. Expect periods of increased trade wind showers in the Hawaiian Islands this weekend, favoring overnight to early morning hours along the windward and mountain slopes.

High Surf Warning posted until Friday morning for most of the North and West Shores. More swell coming from the NW early next week. Surf along south and east facing shores will remain small until early next week.
