Police are investigating the armed robbery of the Dollar Tree in Natchitoches

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) – The Natchitoches Police Department said they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Dec. 23 in the 900 block of Keyser Avenue.

NPD said officers arrived at the Dollar Tree around 9:27 p.m. and contacted the victim, who claimed they were approached by two people in the parking lot. The suspects allegedly asked the victim to give them the deposit bag and the mobile phone at gunpoint. The victim complied and the two suspects fled.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area, but are asking anyone with more information to contact NPD at 318-352-8101.
