The Jack Warner Parkway ramp is closing for tree clearing

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – A portion of the Jack Warner Parkway ramp in Tuscaloosa will soon be closed for several days for tree clearing, Alabama Department of Transportation officials announced Thursday.

ALDOT says it is working to clear trees near the westbound Jack Warner Parkway ramp from US-82 EB by the Woolsey Finnell Bridge and will close the ramp from Dec. 30 to Jan. 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, officials say the closure will not take place on New Year’s Day.

ALDOT encourages drivers to plan alternate routes during the time the roadway is closed.
