Evaton SAPS and CPF spread festive cheer

EVATON.- Evaton Police in partnership with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) hosted an exciting outreach event at Evaton Police Station to give back to the Beverley Hills community and strengthen crime fighting partnerships this week .

As part of the initiative, members of the police force and CPF have come together to provide much-needed support to local families. Donations included sweets, snacks, pre-loved clothing, school uniforms and stationery. Children received safety tips, party packs and freshly made popcorn. Parents and grandparents also received clothing and supplies.

Police spokesperson Constable Thulisile Msibi emphasized the importance of such initiatives in building trust between the police and the public.

“This event not only brings smiles to children’s faces, but also demonstrates our commitment to serving and protecting the community in any way possible. We believe that working with the community will help us create a safer environment for everyone.”
