Written test schedule for Sub-Inspector (Civil Police/Information), Fire Station Second Officer and Platoon Commander, Male (PAC/IRB) test-2024 (under Home Department) has been released by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission ( UKPSC). The aim of the recruitment campaign is to cover 222 open positions.

According to the announcement, the test will be held on January 12, 2025, between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Starting January 2nd, gym passes will be made available.

Step 3: Enter your login information and press “Submit”.
Step 4: Review and get the admit card.
Step 5: Print a copy for your records.

Vacancies

The UKPSC SI 2024 vacancies are a total of 222 posts, divided into four categories:

– Civil Police sub-inspector: 65 posts

– Intelligence sub-inspector: 43 positions

– Second Fire Station Officer: 25 posts

– Platoon Commander (Gulmnayak): 89 posts

These vacancies are further classified on the basis of reservation with specific numbers allotted to General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates.

The screening process

The selection process for UKPSC SI Recruitment 2024 involves a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess physical standards followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to assess physical fitness. Candidates who clear the PET exam will appear for a written exam consisting of two papers and those who qualify will undergo document verification to verify their educational and personal documents. Finally, candidates who clear the document verification stage will undergo a medical examination to assess their physical fitness and the final merit list will be prepared based on their performance in the written examination.
