Partners in the Struggle is holding its 26th annual March Against Gun Violence

NASHVILLE, TN (WTVF) — Partners In The Struggle is hosting its 26th annual March to End Gun Violence on Sunday afternoon.

This event will start at 3pm at the Napier Community Centre. The march serves as a tribute to the lives lost to gun violence, inviting people to bring photos and posters of their loved ones.

Organizers hope to highlight the painful consequences of gun violence and inspire people to put down their guns.

The march will pass through Cannon, Lewis and Winfrey streets before returning to Fairfield Avenue.

Anyone interested in walking is encouraged to bring folding chairs to relax along the march route or during the ceremony at the end.

Middle Tennessee nurses collect donations for Hurricane Helene victims

Another example of how one person can really make a difference. And the best part – we can all help! As a nurse, Laura deals with emergencies every day. But nothing could prepare her for the emergency that brought her hometown to its knees. From her current home in Tennessee, she is mobilizing aid and supplies for Helene survivors and helping to ease their recovery and brighten the holidays. I hope you’ll take a moment to follow her story – you might even feel inspired to lend a hand.
