Chloe Bailey is ‘more inspired than ever’ as 2024 draws to a close; The singer teases “exciting” plans for next year

Chloe Bailey has spoken of “exciting” future plans as 2024 draws to a close. The Have Mercy singer spoke to People magazine about all her career plans for the new year. “I was more inspired than ever,” she told the press. “I have a lot of exciting things coming up, so I’m giving it my all,” she added.

Bailey added that she is excited to step into the shoes of a producer again, explaining that her understanding of production, “drums and synths,” has grown after experiencing different cultures. “So I’m really excited to get back into my pretty deep producer bag,” added the musician.

Although she will be 27 next year, Bailey feels “inside” like a teenager. “I feel like in the younger part of my years, I took life so seriously,” she explained. The singer/songwriter added that she is ready to focus on her happiness and work hard to achieve her goals.

She also reflected on her life this year and cited the release of her second album, Trouble in Paradise, and traveling the world as highlights of 2024. “I feel like any moment that allows me to grow as a human being and expand my mind was the most memorable,” the Treat Me singer said.

On a personal note, one of her highlights was watching her sister Halle’s one-year-old son grow up, especially as he entered the “rich aunt era.” Bailey feels this year has allowed her to be more of a boss and not take things too seriously, while she credits her grandson for that change.

Asked if she plans to release music with her sister Halle in 2025, the singer teased that it’s on the horizon. While she understands Halle has a lot on her plate, she can’t wait to “finally put together the body of work we’ve been talking about for so long.”

The Vision hi-maker also recalled the “special” moment she shared with her sister when they performed together at the Fashion Awards. “I can’t wait to do it again with another album,” she added.
