Blue Springs police are hoping the public can help identify the suspect in the attempted robbery

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (KCTV) – Police are looking for a person who tried to rob someone in Blue Springs.

The department released images Monday morning of the person believed to have been involved in the incident.

One of the images shows a man wearing jeans, a black boat and a black ski mask. The other image shows that the man has facial hair.

Police said the incident happened in mid-November in a business area along South Route 7 and Route 40.
