Suspect arrested in Rockford auto shop robbery

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A 34-year-old Rockford man is facing multiple charges in connection with a burglary on the city’s south side.

Tarrie Noel is charged with robbery, criminal damage to property and theft.

Around 9 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, officers were called to Biggers Auto Care, 3316 Kishwaukee St., for a burglary alarm.

When the police arrived, they detained Noel and later arrested him.

He is currently in the Winnebago County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.
