P Diddy’s trial is scheduled for May 2025

He was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York on September 16 and held in a special housing unit before appearing in court facing charges of fraud, conspiracy and sex trafficking. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges and his defense is preparing for his trial, set for May 5, 2025.

Combs was the subject of a lengthy investigation by the Homeland Security Investigations Agency earlier this year, which included searches of the musician’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

Since then it has been denied bail three times – most recently on Wednesday, when things got even worse for Combs. Bryana ‘Bana’ Bongolan, a fashion designer, filed a 17-page lawsuit against the Los Angeles musician. Among the many allegations in the lawsuit are: sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment.

The combs allegedly hung the victim over 17th floor balcony in LA

It reads: “On or about September 26, 2016, Sean P. Diddy’ Combs sexually assaulted Ms. Bryana “Bana” Bonngolan, dangled her from a 17-story balcony. and then slammed her into the balcony furniture,” in the Bad Boy Records founder’s luxury Los Angeles apartment. ex-girlfriend Cassie Venturawith whom he was staying at the time.

Mr. Combs’ threats that he was “Damn Devil”, and that “could kill” they were intended terrorize, intimidateand instill fear,” the complaint continued. “Therefore, when he forcibly groped her breasts, hung her from a balcony and beat her, she reasonably believed that Mr Combs’ assault was he carries out his threats.

The only purpose of hanging someone over a balcony is to intentionally kill or terrorize them and rob them of any concept of mastery over their own autonomy and bodily safety. It should come as no surprise that this is exactly what happened to Ms. Bongolan.”

Combs’ legal team issued a statement of denial of Bongolan claims: “Mr. Combs strongly denies these serious allegations and remains confident that they will in the end to be proved baseless. He has unwavering faith in the facts and in the fairness of the judicial process. In court, the truth will come out, proving the claims against Mr. Combs to be true without merit“.

Bongolan is looking for $10 million compensation. Lawsuits typically take one to two years to reach court, meaning Combs could face off in courtrooms on both coasts next year.
