Burglars hit the Carbon Cliff Fire Department

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) – Officials are searching for unknown suspects following a burglary at the Carbon Cliff Fire Department.

According to Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities, at 10:08 p.m., on Dec. 3, Rock Island County deputies responded to the Carbon Cliff Fire Department for a reported theft.

Officials said unknown suspects forced their way into the building and stole $5,000 worth of Fire Department property. The building was also damaged during the incident.

The suspects left a green bicycle at the scene.
