State Bank of India (SBI) has released notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO) posts today 26th December. A total of 600 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. This includes 586 regular posts and 14 vacant posts. The application process will open tomorrow, December 27th, and will end on January 16th. Phase I preliminary exam will be held on March 8 and 15.

SBI PO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: To apply for the examination, a candidate must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Interested candidates who are in their final year/semester of graduation can also apply.

Age limit: Candidates must be graduates in any field and aged between 21 and 30 years.

SBI PO Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 750 to successfully apply for the exam. Candidates of SC and ST categories are exempted from paying any fees.

SBI PO Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern

The written test is conducted in two stages. The first phase of the exam, known as Prelims, consists of 100 marks. The pattern includes 30 questions in English, 35 of which will be related to quantitative aptitude and 35 of which will be related to reasoning ability.

Those who clear the prelims will be further called for the main exam. Also known as the second phase of the exam, questions in the main exam are worth 250 marks. The second part involves objective questions. Successful candidates in the written test will be called for an interview and document verification.
