Accused Kansas meth dealer jailed on Christmas Eve

OSAGE COUNTY — Law enforcement is investigating a suspect on multiple drug charges.

Just before 6:30 p.m. On Christmas Eve, a sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle near Green Acres Pizza & Sub, 4951 E. K-268 Highway, in the small Osage County community of Vassar, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

During the encounter, the suspected illegal narcotics were on display. Deputies took Thomas A. Anderson, 42, of Quenemo into custody and transported him to the Osage County Jail on requested charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
