Taxi jumps curb, crashes into Christmas crowd outside Manhattan Macy’s – The Oakland Press

A yellow taxi van jumped the curb and crashed into a crowd of Christmas pedestrians walking nearby. Macy’s on W. 34th St. and Sixth Ave. Wednesday afternoon, NYPD officials said.

Six people were struck by the taxi driven by a 58-year-old man traveling north on Sixth Ave. near W. 34th St., where it plunged onto the busy sidewalk across from the Macy’s flagship store at 4:03 p.m.
