Police hunt for clues in Katherine aggravated robbery December 27

Police in the Northern Territory are appealing for information in relation to an aggravated robbery which took place in Katherine overnight.

At around 12.45pm the Joint Emergency Services Communications Center (JESCC) received a report that four young offenders had robbed a petrol station in Katherine. The criminals allegedly entered the gas station with their faces covered and stole several items before leaving the area.

The group allegedly returned a short time later, damaged a door to get behind the counter and stole an unknown amount of cash from the house along with the attendant’s cell phone.

The police intervened and established the crime scene. The offenders remain unsolved and investigations are ongoing.
