Daughter attacks mother with knife at Raleigh apartment complex, police said

A woman was injured by her daughter in a knife attack Sunday at a Raleigh apartment complex.

At 11:11 a.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported stabbing in the 6500 block of Daybrook Circle. When police arrived, they found a woman with a cut on her chest. Police said this was related to a domestic dispute between the victim and her daughter, who is a minor.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
