Gurgaon: Three persons were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing their colleague and flatmate over a petty quarrel they had while consuming alcohol at their residence on December 10.
Sarjan alias Ali, Ramanand alias Billu and Ajit alias Binny from Mainpuri in UP strangled 25-year-old Pushpendra from Aligarh using an electric cable.
The victim worked at a factory in Sector 3 of IMT Manesar.
Police were alerted about Pushpendra’s death by his sister Chandresh Kumari around 4.30 am on Tuesday. A forensic team visited the spot and collected evidence, after which the body was shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
“My brother was staying in a room in Khoh village with three of his classmates from UP. He told me numerous times about his roommates who quarreled with him over petty issues. They also threatened him that they will kill him during those fights,” Chandresh said. in her police complaint.
On the day of the murder, Chandresh received a call from one of his roommates. Devender Inspector IMT Manesar said: “His roommate told him that Pushpendra had suffered a fall in his room and was unresponsive. She rushed to her brother’s house in Dundahera, where she lives, and later alerted the police. I found the body. lying in the room with wounds on his neck.”
A case of murder under Section 103 (1) of the NBS was registered against all the three accused.

The accused were produced before the court on Thursday and remanded in custody.
