Here’s how to recycle your tree after Christmas Day

COLORADO SPRINGS — Now that Christmas is over, El Pomar Youth Sports Park is hosting the 2024 TreeCycle event.

Residents can take their Christmas trees to one of seven locations in Colorado Springs.

From 26 December to 1 January, 7:30am – 5:00pm weekdays and 8:00am – 4:00pm Saturdays (closed on Sundays/Holidays)

On December 28-29 and January 4-5, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

  • Head of Baptist Road
    • Baptist Rd. and Old Denver Hwy.
  • Falcon trailhead
    • Woodman Rd. and McLaughlin Rd.
  • Cottonwood Creek Park
    • Blvd. Dublin. & Montarbor Dr.
  • UC Health Park
  • Rock Ledge Ranch
  • Memorial Park
    • Pikes Peak Ave. and Union Blvd.

Only trees can be recycled. These sites will not accept additional Christmas decorations.
