Suspect gets away with cash from Kansas bank robbery

GEARY COUNTY — Law enforcement officers are investigating a bank robbery in Junction City.

Just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, a man entered the Sunflower Bank, 510 North Jefferson Street in Junction City, according to a news release from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded cash and fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.
