Bank robbery investigation underway in Crestview

CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The Crestview Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Friday shortly after 3:40 p.m.

According to the witness, a light-skinned black male wearing a ski mask, gray hoodie and a fluorescent yellow safety vest entered the First National Bank and Trust located at 885 South Ferdon Boulevard and displayed a handgun. dark color, gun style. .

The suspect allegedly demanded money before leaving the bank on foot. Officials say the suspect entered and fled in a smaller dark blue or black SUV.
