Reliance Industries noted that the investment would enable RDHL to develop a virtual care and diagnostics platform that aims to bring seemingly unattainable access to healthcare within the reach of the public.

Reliance Digital Health Limited, an incubator of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, participated in the massive acquisition to control 45 percent of Health Alliance Group Inc., a US entity, for about 85 million pounds ($10 million) . The deal, which is expected to close subject to all conditions before closing in 2024, is part of Reliance’s push to make its mark in the healthcare and technology space.
Founded in December 2022 and headquartered in Delaware, this company is committed to developing technology-based solutions while understanding the great importance of improving access to healthcare for people everywhere.

Reliance Industries noted that the investment would enable RDHL to develop a virtual care and diagnostics platform that aims to bring seemingly unattainable access to healthcare within the reach of the public. However, the two have entered into a two-week clause to close the deal as no government approvals are required. They ensure that the transaction has no affiliation with any related party as per Reliance.

With Health Alliance Group Inc., Reliance hopes to provide advanced, cost-effective healthcare delivery models to underserved communities in India. The acquisition is part of Reliance’s overarching vision to proliferate its influence in healthcare and technology interactions, ensuring its dedication to innovation and social impact.
