The positive results concluded the first phase of the “Somos Pazíficos” program, an initiative of Ecopetrol that seeks the youth of Huila to lead processes of social transformation and strengthen safe environments.

This project, developed in alliance with the Somos Capaces Association, has exceeded expectations by directly impacting 549 young people from Neiva, Aipe and Villavieja, who now have tools to promote a culture of safety and social cohesion.

In this first phase, focused on diversity and inclusion, young people participate in talleres sobre identidad, perspectives inclusivas, discurss and el vínculo between emotions, cuerpo and mente.

In addition, they led 120 multiplication projects, which impacted 1,825 people, including students and community members, reinforcing the values ​​of inclusion and respect.

It also declares itself to be a multicultural meeting, bringing together delegates from 14 countries, generating a valuable cultural exchange and new perspectives for the beneficiaries of the program.

The next phase of the program, which will develop in 2025, will be focused on maneuvering and conflict resolution, with the objective of empowering young people to acquire new skills that allow them to strengthen dialogue and build from difference.
